The Windy City Comedy Festival is dedicated to showcasing the best comedic talent from Chicago and beyond. By providing opportunities for both local and national comedians, we aim to strengthen Chicago's reputation as a hub for comedy innovation, collaboration, and talent discovery.

The Fine Print

  • Submissions will be reviewed by a diverse panel of judges.

  • All sales are final, with no refunds issued.

  • I/We certify that the information provided is accurate to the best of my/our knowledge.

  • Submissions will be processed only upon completion of both the submission form and payment.

  • I/We grant Windy City Comedy Festival the right to use my/our image and likeness for reviews and promotional purposes, if accepted.

  • Submission does not guarantee entry into the festival.

ALL THE INFO TO SUBMIT

Here’s what you need to know about submissions:

  • Submission Clips: Submit a continuous 5-7 minute set showcasing your original material (no “best of” or highlight reels). Submission clips will be reviewed by a diverse panel of judges. Unlisted tapes are fine, but please don’t make them private or password-protected.

  • Selection Notifications: Selected comics will be notified in April 2026.

  • Eligibility: Comics must be 21 years or older before August 10, 2026.

  • LATE Submission Fee: $30, payable via our campaign link below

  • No Refunds: Submission fees are non-refundable, and any submissions received without the fee will not be considered.

This festival is designed as a showcase, with no cash prizes—but you will have the opportunity to be seen by industry professionals and attend multiple panels and workshops to support your growth in this industry.
