Mercy Hawkins is a Denver-based comedian who draws on her life as a polyamorous trans lesbian to breach barriers and cultivate community. Through her unique perspective, she aims to turn her lived experience into a connection with the audience.
Mercy is also the founder, coordinator, and host of "QTs and Cuties Comedy," an open mic comedy series dedicated to providing a safe, joyful space for Queer, Trans, and women-identifying performers and fans alike. Her mission is to create an environment where people like her can leave the outside world at the door.
By day, she works as a Cloud Platform Engineer (or "Cloud Janitor," as she prefers) and is a self-proclaimed tech geek. If you have an hour to spare, she will happily explain how the iMac G3 line shaped the modern world (seriously).
